They are half baked and you finish baking them at home. The whole idea of them totally squicks me out now. I'm definitely giving that a try. I've noticed the same thing in many of my traditional recipes. Usually half the amount of things like eggs and sugars taste just as good, many times, better. I didn't make a traditional thanksgiving for us, but I did find that because I was in control and not at his parents house we both ate so healthy! agreed my meat consumption has dramatically dropped this year as i learned I don't have to have so much protein or specifically that there is protein in other places than meat I really enjoyed reading that! I've done the turkey breast before. I find though, that if I can get a turkey I can hack it up and freeze the portions, and still get a good broth out of the bones.
