Lori, I saw Tyler on Food TV do it and since I use bananas in my oats & oatbran, I figured it would work the same. It turned out really creamy and yummy!

Heather, ha! Sorry about that! No these weren't frozen, they sit on the shelf next to all the other loaves of bread. They are half baked and you finish baking them at home. The whole idea of them totally squicks me out now. I mean, how can you keep dough shelf stable when it's only half baked?!

I love that idea for the sweet potato casserole! I'm definitely giving that a try. I've noticed the same thing in many of my traditional recipes. Usually half the amount of things like eggs and sugars taste just as good, many times, better.

RunToTheFinish, That is one thing that I definitely love, is being in control of my own food. I admit I do tend to freak out a bit on the inside when I eat at other places. Eeep!

Bobbi, Come on over! There's plenty of food to go around.

DianaHayes, Oh pineapple?! How intriguing! That sounds like a good combo for sure.

Amanda, I did! And it was honestly so easy peasy.

I really enjoyed reading that! I didn't make a traditional thanksgiving for us, but I did find that because I was in control and not at his parents house we both ate so healthy!

agreed my meat consumption has dramatically dropped this year as i learned I don't have to have so much protein or specifically that there is protein in other places than meat

My mother in law used the bananas in the sweet potatoes last year, but this year tried pineapple and liked it better. I've done the turkey breast before. I find though, that if I can get a turkey I can hack it up and freeze the portions, and still get a good broth out of the bones. You're doing such a great job of clean eating.
