As for Chuck, it got renewed next year but only for 13 episodse and it wont' come back until March (thanks to Jay Leno hogging up so much prime time), so I doubt it will do that well when it's been off the air for that long. I agree that this season is lacking a bit compared to others, hopefully it will improve. I think saving your run for Saturday is a great idea.
