I love putting red pepper in my dipping oil, along with some balsamic, which I prefer over butter.

Oh yeah – bread and EVOO!!! Sometimes the restaurants will be nice enough to bring out some good balsamic too…

Good reminder! I remember the first time I saw a waitress create an olive oil mix at an Italian Oven in the mall. We were all in awe and would go back to the IO just so we could have that olive oil/bread combo. For some reason it never clicked that I could eat it at home too.

I like olive oil and balsamic vinegar mixed together to dip bread into. Yum.

I love olive oil for dipping. Actually, some bread, olive oil and maybe some cheese, fruit and wine is the perfect dinner in my opinion. Your dip combo sounds great.
